Shared use of the Center was started in 2019 to build a new training base for athletes aiming to participate in the Tokyo 2020 Games. In addition to accommodations, dining rooms and training rooms, a multipurpose arena, a swimming pool with a pool of running water, training grounds dedicated to table tennis, fencing, rifle shooting and archery were newly established. All facilities in the Center are designed barrier-free, and there is a passage for visitors only.
